Admission requirements
To be admitted to the programme, you must have a secondary school diploma from in Italy (“diploma di maturità”) or from abroad. If you get your secondary school diploma outside Italy, check whether it is valid for admission and which documents you need to submit on the page Admission requirements for students with international qualifications.
The course has a limited number of places: to be admitted, you must pass a selection process based on an admission test and be listed in the candidates admitted to the programme in the ranking list.
Admission call a.y. 2026/2027
The following categories are eligible to participate in the selection process:
- Italian citizens, European citizens and equivalent
- Non-European citizens residing outside Italy may only apply in the first session.

First session
Open to European and non European candidates
- Admission application: from mid December 2025 to 23 March 2026 at 12:00
- Passing the admission TOLC-I test: from 1 January 2025 to 20 March 2026
- Passing the admission CEnT-S test: from 1 November 2025 to 31 March 2026
- Italian proficiency test for Non-Europeans: 11 March 2026
- First ranking: by 2 April 2026 (European candidates); by 14 April 2026 (non European candidates)
- Pre-enrollment at UniTrento: by the deadline indicated in the rankings
- Educational qualification Confirmation: from 6 to 17 July 2026 at 12:00.
Second session
Open only to European and equivalent candidates
- Admission application: from 9 april to 11 May 2026 at 12:00
- Passing the admission TOLC-I test: from 1 January 2025 to 8 May 2026
- First ranking: by 20 May 2026
- Pre-enrollment at UniTrento: by the deadline indicated in the rankings
- Educational qualification Confirmation: from 6 to 17 July 2026 at 12:00.
Third session
- Open only to European and equivalent candidates
- Admission application: from 4 June to 31 July 2026 at12:00
- Admission test: from 1 January 2025 to 31 July 2026
- First ranking: by 7 August 2026
- Enrollment at UniTrento: by the deadline indicated in the rankings.
Admission application
You need to submit the admission application by the deadline set for the session you want to apply for:
- authenticate and create a profile on the UniTrento website by logging in using SPID, CIE or another way described on the log in website
- select the Degree Course and specify the Degree Course(s) you wish to apply for
You’ll receive a confirmation email as your request is sent.
Test: when and where and how to register
The test you have to pass depends on the curriculum you want to enrol in and your category.
If you are a European citizen or equivalent:
- TOLC-I test to enrol in the Italian or English programme.
- CEnT test in English to enrol in the English programme in the first session only.
If you are a non-European citizen: CEnT test in English to enrol in the English curriculum in the first session only.
UniTrento automatically obtains your test results from CISIA and considers the highest score you have achieved in the test since 1 January 2025 to be valid.

Rankings are published on this webpage.
Further rankings will be published only in case of available seats.
If you are admitted in the ranking you must meet deadlines and procedures described on the ranking: if you miss it, you can not enrol.
Enrollment
You must enrol at UnItrento and confirm your qualification at the same time by the deadline set in the raking:
If you don't complete the enrollment process by the deadline, you can not enrol.
If you complete the enrollment procedure for one programme, but then you are admitted to another degree programme and you want to switch your preference, please write an email with your data to the Admission office.
