The final exam is the concluding activity of the programme: graduating students must write a paper, in Italian or English, on a topic approved by a supervisor and discuss it in front of a committee.
During the discussion, graduating students normally have 10 minutes to present their thesis, with multimedia support (slides), and 5 minutes to answer questions from the committee.
Who can be a Supervisor:
- Professors from the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI).
- Professors from the University of Trento in the scientific-disciplinary sectors INF/01 and ING-INF/*.
- Professors teaching courses offered in a program organized by DISI (possibly in collaboration with other departments) during the current academic year or the one preceding the date of the Final Exam.
The characteristics of the final exam, the procedures, the scoring criteria, and the composition of the examining committees are detailed in the Final Exam Regulations.
