The Faculty of Law of the University of Trento offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies (CEILS), taught entirely in English. At CEILS you will study the foundations of the main areas of law, which are:
- Comparative Legal System
- European Law
- Historical-Philosophical foundations of Modern Legal Thought
- Substantive and Procedural Law in the various areas of private and public law (from a comparative, European and international perspective)
The defining characteristic of CEILS is its comparative, international and transnational approach to law. Thanks to this focus, you will develop the knowledge for working in different contexts, where it will be useful for you to learn about other legal systems, such as in international organizations of the European Union.
Moreover, in addition to studying law, you will have the opportunity to improve your English and learn a new European language, German, French, or Spanish. For international students, it is mandatory to choose Italian.
Lastly, CEILS students will have the opportunity to apply for internship programmes in global institutions.
