In the Master's Degree in Management and Industrial Systems Engineering, you will develop all the skills necessary to effectively manage and control the processes that characterise the new production paradigm and the associated industrial revolution. You will have solid skills in both the technical disciplines and the disciplines related to the management of the systemic complexity of modern industry, as you will also analyse the economic-organisational aspects, the challenges posed by environmental sustainability and digital technologies in industrial development. In the first year, you will study subjects that give you an excellent grounding in the disciplines of management and industrial systems engineering. From your second year, you will be able to tailor your study plan by choosing between two pathways:
Design and Sustainability, where you will study engineering methodologies for the design of complex industrial systems and innovative industrial products, paying attention to the choice of materials, taking into account the entire life cycle of products and their environmental impact, both in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and consumption of primary resources.
Management and digitalisation, where you will develop the ability to manage complex production processes characterised by a strong use of the digital technologies underpinning the current industrial revolution, including the use of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things tools and industrial process optimisation methods.
