The study plan is the full set of activities (classes, laboratories, internships) needed to achieve the degree.
Filling in the study plan is necessary to enter these activities in your Record book in Esse3: you can only take exams if for the activities already included your Record book.
To choose which activities to include in your study plan, check the Didactic Offer ("Manifesto degli studi").
You can only fill in your study plan in two fixed periods each year in the 1st and 2nd semester.
Before filling out the Study Plan, check the Educational offer ("Manifesto degli studi") for the current academic year.
You must submit the study plan in Esse 3, if you are enrolled in the first year, to choose 16 credits (ECTS) from the elective courses.
You must take at least 10 ECTS of elective courses at the University of Innsbruck within those included in the Educational offer ("Manifesto degli studi").
In order to graduate with the joint degree, you have to gain at least 30 ECTS at University of Innsbruck: 20 among mandatory learning activities and 10 among electives activities.
If you include in your study plan less than 10 ECTS from Innsbruck University learning activities, you must defend your thesis at University of Innsbruck.
If you need to:
- add to your Record book activities that you did not find when submitting your study plan online in Esse3;
- add to your Record book activities offered by other programmes from the same type of yours (Bachelor's or Master's degree);
- add to your Record book activities as “supernumerary” courses (they will not be counted for the credits needed for graduation nor for the weighted average for the degree grade);
- cancel activities that Esse3 does not allow you to remove from your Record book.
In all these cases you must:
- fill out the Study plan in Esse3 with the activities you can add
- fill out the form Free study plan evaluation request ("Modulo richiesta valutazione piano di studio libero")
- save and send it to to the Student Support Service from your student's email account @studenti.unitn.it by the deadlines.
No forms will be accepted from non UniTrento student email or beyond the established deadlines.
If you are in expecting to graduate status ("attesa di laurea") or extending your studies ("fuori corso") you must:
- fill in the Word form "Study plan changes"
- send it via email to the Student Support Service from your student's email account.
If you are an expecting to graduate student, you can change your plan only in the 1st time frame and add activities offered in the last year in which you renewed your enrollment.
To make sure that the requested changes to your study plan have been successfully made, please check your Esse3 personal area, section Career - Record Book and ensure that all the desired didactic activities are actually present.
The section Study plan - Career plan may not correspond with what is present in the section Career - Record Book, or not all the didactic activities in the Career - Record Book may have a “P” (“Didactic Activity linked to the plan”): this will not affect your Study plan.
