The final exam consists of the discussion of an original thesis: you will work on a topic of your choice, guided by one or more academic Advisors.

The thesis must be written in English.
You can carry out your thesis work:

• at the University of Trento or the University of Innsbruck, based on agreements with your Advisors).
• In other locations, such as Universities, Research Bodies, Weather Services, Environmental Agencies, or other qualified institutions, as long as suitable agreements are in place.
   

At least one of your Advisors must be affiliated with the University of Trento or the University of Innsbruck. You can also collaborate with other qualified professionals, depending on your thesis topic.

Before you start, you’ll need to submit a thesis proposal, including a tentative title and the names of your Advisors, for approval by the program committee.
