If you wish to change course within UniTrento (changing course) or transfer from a course at another university (transfer to UniTrento), you must submit a credit recognition application to assess whether you have the credits and requirements necessary for admission to the second year.
You can submit the application even if you have taken exams in a previous study path (another degree completed or discontinued, single courses) and want to access the second year of the course directly.
In case you do not obtain admission to the second year, you can apply for admission to the first year, respecting the established deadlines: if admitted, even by enrolling in the first year you will be able to obtain recognition of previous credits.
Only European citizens and equivalents can be admitted directly to the second year.
Requirements for admission to the second year
Admission is possible only under these conditions:
- if there are available places with respect to the limited number established each year
- if you meet the requirements described in the Guidelines for admission to years subsequent to the first
- if, based on the outcome of credit recognition, you are eligible for the second year.

To verify if you can be admitted to the second year or if you can be granted credit recognition, complete the Credit Recognition application from July 28 until August 25, 2025:
