This is a period during which you can conduct research related to your thesis at companies or organizations outside the University.

This activity is linked to the final exam: no internship is activated, and no credits are awarded beyond those required for the final or graduation exam.

To conduct thesis research at an external organization or company, you must request the insurance coverage for accidents and third-party liability

How to activate the insurance coverage

At least one week before you start your external thesis research period, yoi have to send to the Department Secretariat the following documents:

• support letter of the thesis supervisor
• acceptance letter of the hosting institution

Research period and insurance extension

To extend the research period, send the extension forms:

• support letter of the thesis supervisor - extension form (fac-simile)
• acceptance letter of the hosting institution - extension form (fac-simile)
