The Master of Science programme in Environmental Meteorology and Climate Physics is jointly offered by the University of Trento and the University of Innsbruck.
You will cover a variety of topics related to atmosphere and climate processes and their connections with environmental systems. You will be stimulated to get familiar with different ways of approaching weather, climate and the environment, including experimental techniques, theoretical analysis and numerical simulations. Once graduated, you will be able to prepare and present weather forecasts, understand climate dynamics, perform atmospheric and environmental measurements, analyse observational data and work with numerical models for the simulation of atmosphere, climate and environmental processes.
You will become an expert in weather processes and climate dynamics, including climate change, one of humanity's greatest challenges today.
Moreover, this is a unique opportunity to have an international experience and get a double degree, which means that after you fulfill all the requirements, you will obtain two different degrees, one from each university:
- the degree of “Master of Science” from the University of Innsbruck
- the degree "Laurea magistrale in Environmental Meteorology" from the University of Trento.
