You will acquire critical and analytical skills to interpret and explain economic, legal, political and social changes at European and international level.
You will understand the functioning of European and international institutions, decision-making processes and relations between the European Union, Member States and global actors.
You will learn to analyse global phenomena with a multidisciplinary approach, using tools from economics, law, history, political science and sociology.
You will develop advanced language skills through teaching in English.
You will acquire methodologies to conduct research, interpret complex data and propose concrete solutions.
You will be able to develop and implement research projects on regional, national and international phenomena.
You will be able to synthesise and analyse information from different sources, draw relevant conclusions and propose actions.
You will communicate clearly and effectively, using appropriate style and vocabulary in English.
The MEIS offers a stimulating and interactive learning environment. In addition to courses taught by international experts, you can participate in seminars and conferences on current topics, debates and professional workshops. The School of International Studies will also offer you:
Multidisciplinary teaching: courses are designed to help you cross traditional disciplinary boundaries.
Practical experience: by participating in workshops and internships, you will put your knowledge into practice and have the opportunity to collaborate with professionals and researchers in the field of international relations.
Tutoring and support: you will have access to a dedicated tutor who will assist you in your academic preparation. In addition, you can take advantage of language workshops and tutoring activities to improve your language skills.

Career Opportunities
The Master's degree programme in European and International Studies prepares you for careers in the public and private sector.
The degree is qualified to obtain positions of responsibility within organisations and institutions engaged in European and international affairs and in private companies operating on international markets, to find employment in governmental and non-governmental organisations dealing with specific issues of international relevance (such as human rights, international relations, environmental protection, institutional design, etc.), and to pursue a diplomatic career.
