Fundamentals of Economics and Management: you will gain a thorough understanding of economic theories and management practices by studying the mathematical and statistical disciplines fundamental to economic analysis.

Tools for economic analysis: you will learn to use quantitative tools to analyse economic data, using programming software such as R, Matlab and Python. Acquiring these skills is the basis for the computer-intensive applications that are essential in economics, management and finance. 

International skills: If you choose the English pathway, you will receive an internationally oriented education with a focus on data science and machine learning. The aim is to facilitate your approach to the new areas of economic disciplines opened up by the development of big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

You will take part in innovative lectures that incorporate experiments and simulations into teaching activities; face-to-face lectures will be supplemented by practical activities, experiments, simulations and the use of multimedia technologies.

You will develop skills in the use of computer tools applied to business and management.

You will address real-world issues through problem-based learning and discussion of case studies. You will develop problem-solving skills applied to marketing, finance and business management.
