The Research Seminar - Journal Club ( code 145759) is a compulsory activity for all tracks.
To complete it, you must carry out two activities:

• participating in at least 4 seminars organized by the CIBIO Department or in external seminars, with subject consistent with your study program. For the internal seminars organised by CIBIO, you have to fill in the signature sheet.
• Prepare a presentation (slides) of a scientific paper and present it to the lab members of the research group at which you are doing your internship or thesis, based on the Journal club format.

To register the credits for the activity, you must send the following documents to the CIBIO Department contact and to the supervisor, in copy:

• for seminars
  • the list of internal seminars you have attended at CIBIO, specifying title, date and speaker;
  • in the case of external seminars, the seminar poster signed by the speaker and the registration receipt, if any;
• for the presentation
  • the presentation file (slides);
  • the reference article.

The Department will verify attendance at internal seminars on the signature sheets for each seminar.
